2023 Highlights: Registry Data & Family Travel Funds

PR-COIN saw tremendous upwards progress and growth for pediatric rheumatology QI network, PR-COIN. Key highlights include:

  • 19 centers submitting data into the new registry for a total of 11,361 patients enrolled,

  • Newly committed $500 travel funds for each center per year to support low-resource patient and family access to care, and

  • Inaugural Nancy Griffin Award presented to Angela Young, PR-COIN Parent Advocate at Cincinnati Children’s, for her commitment to the PR-COIN mission.

PR-COIN members – including providers, researchers, patients & families, and administrators – continue to submit for and obtain grant funding, publish on their research, and develop toolkits to facilitate and improve patient care and outcomes.

We are immensely grateful for this community. Thank you for an amazing year - we look forward to achieving bigger and better things in 2024!
